Hi! Jim here from California
Hi, Lou. It’s Christie from Nevada. Thanks for holding this event!
Hi Lou
How are you?
My question is about selling products from my website.
What are the basics I need to sell an e-book from my site?
I’m confused about how auto-responders fit in with shopping carts and merchant accounts.
Thanks.
Susan
I want to know the steps I need to take to build a list while I develop my product/s. Thanks Lou.
Hi Lou, Thank you for this event!
Also, hello to Christie in Nevada

i got cut off and can’t get back on. i hope the replay will be available – di
Diane – use the “slide presentation” link
if you got dropped, go to the slide presentation — that’ll still work.
I love the Big Vision Paralysis and the idea of setting a goal at say 3 on a scale of 1 – 10 and feeling great that you got to 5, rather than -ve that you only got to an 8.
Also to sell something b4 u cre8 it – I’ve done that too and it really gets you focused and into action.
For the woman who was talking about being able to update her website by herself…
You don’t want a static website. The Search Engines will be more active in finding your site the more you change it. Daily or at least weekly is good.

Lou, thanks so much for this great webinar! I’m a total newbie at this marketing stuff and hearing you explain things so clearly gives me hope that I might actually be able to suceed! What struck me as highly relevant for my situation is the importance of a healthy and positive mind-set. Thanks so much for the reminder that I AM good enough!

Thanks for the incredible amount of helpful information. This very generous amount of tips and simplification of a complex subject is so helpful!
Thanks.
Thanks for giving the geographical lay-out of internet marketing elements – a mystery solved for me.
What time of day will you do teh webinars? (I’m in Australia)
Lou,
Louisa and I will be attending Harv’s Warrior Camp from Oct28- Nov 2. we will be a bit behind in your prelim training.
Thank you for the awesome webinar andf your wonderfully generous offer, but I would have to get a loan to pay the $1,497.00, so am unable to sign up today. I’ve gotten so much inspiration from you today, though, so thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am here. think 81-10 hours are workable in the 2nd week. thanks
I wasn’t surprised, because you always OVER deliver fresh new content, but I was VERY pleased and now I’m EXTREMELY excited. Can’t wait to get started and finally finish what I started and have been working for for sooooo long to finish. I am ready to rock.
Blessings,
Carol and Denis
thanks.
What can I say, Lou you over delivered again!!
I like the analogy you used about the different musicians all playing the same song yet with their own unique flavour and nuance, that helps to take off some self imposed pressure …
I can’t type fast enough, so awaiting your replay.

Hope you got most of your questions answered. We didn't talk much about shopping carts and merchant accounts, so here's a quick overview.
Think of how it works In the offline world…a) we swipe our credit cards in the reader which b) in turn, sends our credit card information to the bank/merchant account provider for verification and approval and c) sends the result of the verification back to the terminal.
In the online world, you can loosely think of the shopping cart as the card reader. It provides a secure online web page for you to enter your credit card information, sends that information to the merchant account provider's computers, waits for the approval/rejection notice, and either continues the transaction or tells the user the transaction's not valid.
That's the "payment gateway" function. Some shopping carts, like http://PowerUpCart.com have the gateway built in to the shopping cart – which also provides the ability to create "storefronts", and deliver the products after the completion of the transaction.
There's more to it, of course, but I think that addresses your main point of confusion.
Admin Note: Lindy's question answered on the call.
I've got some additional training on article marketing coming up in 2009, but for now let me give you a few quick tips:
1. The main article directories for you to consider if you're going to publish your articles manually are: http://goarticles.com and http://ezinearticles.com.
2. If you want to automate your article marketing and submit to hundreds of article directories, look at these two submission services: http://1webcenter.com/submityourarticle and http://1webcenter.com/articlemarketer
3. Know the keyword phrases by which you want your articles to be discovered in the search results, and be sure your article headline has the phrases, and the body of your article includes a "liberal dose" of the main keyword and related phrases.
4. In your author's resource box (at the bottom of your article), be sure to refer your readers to a page where they can subscribe to your list.
5. Post your articles to your blog FIRST, then submit them to article directories. This will not only make your blog more content-rich, but also help google to establish ownership of the article when choosing between your blog post and other sites that syndicate your article for display in the Search Engine Results Pages.
THanks Caitriona – nice to have you with us
Great "Aha's" Bhatki! Thanks for sharing..
Nice "catch" Joy – mindset is really the "secret"!
Awesome – say "hi" to Harv for me!
No worries Joy – do what you know is right for you. Don't forget, as you are considering your options, what it would mean to have am online marketing system up and running in 30 days to your business versus struggling without one for an indefinite period of time. I am biased, of course, but I think you'll see many times your investment back in the former case – and much sooner – than the latter.
Thanks Carol – so great that you're joining us. I love working with you!
Thanks Louisa!
