Hello,
Does the FTC have jurisdiction over business owners who: (1) Are legal citizens of countries other than the United States, who (2) Do not reside in the United States, and (3) Are selling via the Internet all over the world, including the United States?
Thanks!
If you are selling clickbank products through a list building mini-site is there any reason that you must disclose the affiliate relationship if you aren't making any claims, only recommending the product?
Hello,
Quick follow-up question: When I mentioned selling via the Internet all over the world, would there be any distinctions between items that are downloaded via actual physical items that are shipped? Thanks.
Repeat what you said about how to do upsell please?
Did I hear it correctly that B2B Robo call is legal?
what is the minimum age, when hiring a contractor?
Mine is a question regarding copyright.
What if you create a product that makes reference to copywritten material like lines from motion pictures or tv shows to be used in the product in a review capacity (ie Roger Ebert reviewing a movie with character, plot and quote references to back up an endorsement)?
Hello,
Not to put Lou or yourself on the spot, but is there any way we can get a brief consultation with you for slightly cheaper than would otherwise be the case? This would be with regard to very specific questions about very specific situations, done over the phone while we both look at a rough draft of my website plans. It could be that it would be better to not pursue some of them at all due to the legal aspects they would open up. Obviously it would help for me to get your package first, and to be able to study it first, in order to make better use of your time. Thanks.
What about use of video clips and music clips used on website or for promotion video for a product? Is it good enough to just acknowledge this at the end or what is appropriate for this?
Do I need permission to copy and paste materials from Government website to my website? Or just making a reference to the sources (.gov site) is enough.
How can I check if material is copyrighted versus in the public domain? I use problem solving material that is commonly used but I am concerned about copyright issues.
