The Dangerous Experiment…

Today I wanted to share with you today the "The Dangerous Experiment" marketing concept.

I first learned about it from Robert Allen, the #1 best selling author of the "No Money Down" real estate book.

Robert told me how his book and career tookoff almost overnight when he publicly declared that he could buy real estate anywhere in the USA with no money, no identification and no connections – in 24 hours.

He partnered up with an impartial third partynewspaper. They took his ID, money, and creditcards; dropped him "in the middle of nowhere"then followed him around to film and record his every move.

Most of us need weeks, even months, to buy a house. Robert claimed he could do it a single day.

You can see why it’s called the "Dangerous Experiment" marketing strategy.

Clearly, this could have easily back fired, and Robert’s career could have gone the direction of the Dodo.

But that wasn’t the case because in fact – he bought not one, but TWO, houses in that 24 hour period.

The papers printed the story and Robert was aliving legend almost instantly.

That one "Dangerous Experiment" that Robert performed made him one of the worlds most read,and most highly praised real-estate gurus.

I just now finished reading the account of another such marketing experiment performed by a colleague of mine.

This is FRESH – an experiment that just completed very recently, and just reading about it sent shivers up my spine.

Honestly, I don’t know if I could muster the guts to do what he did.

He put his entire reputation on the line with his own "Dangerous Experiment" – in front of a live audience nonetheless.
